Winslow Homer: American Storyteller Part II

Winslow Homer, one of the most influential 19th-century American artists, began as a freelance illustrator for publications like Harper’s Weekly and Appleton’s Journal. Advances in printing technology allowed these widely distributed journals to prioritize black-and-white illustrations over text.
